Adults on the Autism Spectrum

We provide flexible, comprehensive services to adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders to reach their goals and live independent meaningful lives in their communities.

We do this through:

  • working closely with the individual, their carers and professionals involved in their care.
  • developing a person centred care plan.
  • use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) techniques dependant on individual needs commonly making use of a diary of significant events and associated feelings, thoughts and behaviours; relaxation and distraction techniques.
  • planned activities of choice.
  • identifying with the individual appropriate employment, education and  training opportunities.

  • We support individuals to take part in activities of their choice and these include paid work, voluntary work, social and leisure activities.

  • We support individuals in residential and nursing establishments to learn new skills, develop and improve their independent living skills and at the same time enjoying their leisure time.
